Chicken Broth Soup

A dish that I have been eating since I could eat solid foods, chicken broth is a perfect starter before lunch. You put in any vegetables you want while cooking the soup and can finish it off with any herb. You can personalize it in any way you want and it is super easy to make! 



  • ½ Of Whole Chicken 

  • 1 Chopped Carrot 

  • 1 Small Onion 

  • Salt 

  • Pepper

  1. Boil water in a large stockpot and add in the chicken 

  2. Bring down heat to medium heat and begin to skim and fat or scum from the surface 

  3. Add in the cut carrots, whole onion, salt and pepper into the stockpot 

  4. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes 

  5. Once finished, discard the onion before serving
