Mushroom Salad


A very popular dish made when going over to someone's house in my family, the mushroom salad is a delicious mix of three easy ingredients. With the perfect combination of mushrooms, eggs, and mayonnaise, the salad can go along with any dish of your choice or can be eaten as a stater dish! 


  • 16 Oz White Button Mushrooms 

  • 1/2 Large Onion; Chopped 

  • 7 Hard Boiled Eggs 

  • 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise 

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil 


  1. Cut up the mushrooms into small pieces 

  2. On a pan on medium high heat add the olive oil and chopped onions and cook until golden brown 

  3. Add in mushrooms and cook until they are no longer soggy or there is no more water in the pan and add salt; Set to side and let cool 

  4. Peel and cut the boiled eggs into small cubes and add to a medium bowl 

  5. Add the cooled mushrooms to the eggs in the bowl and mix together 

  6. Stir in the mayonnaise
